Reiki: Cumulation & Consistency

There are many things in this world that amaze me: flowers that grow in cracks of the sidewalk, watching a sunset's colors melt, intense thunderstorms. Wow - there are sources of awe all around us.

Even when it comes to Reiki, there are certain elements of the theory that amaze me. Particularly, did you know that Reiki is cumulative? This means that Reiki does not slowly fade away after you have a Reiki session. It remains in your system only to be added to during your next Reiki session. Incredible!

Over time, if you are consistent with Reiki, you will have no choice but to slowly evolve towards a higher version of yourself. It will happen slowly, imperceptibly. And then one day, something negative will happen, and you will not react the same way a previous version of yourself would have reacted.

Reiki is a practice and, therefore, requires consistency to see these types of beautiful results. I have been practicing for over a decade now, and I have seen this firsthand. There are two ways that you can arrive at consistency in terms of Reiki energy:

  1. Timely Reiki Sessions: Decide on a schedule that works for you and stick to it. Think of Reiki the same way you would think of a haircut. When you leave the salon, you usually book your next appointment. Keep consistent appointments with your Reiki practitioner. This ensures continual energy management and a steady accumulation of Reiki in your system.
  2. Become a Reiki Practitioner! If you train in Reiki yourself, then this task becomes even easier! Self-Reiki is a lovely technique that can be done on a daily basis. In this way, you are building up Reiki in your system at incredible speeds. Not only that, but you can also offer Reiki to loved ones, friends, and others.

As you navigate this idea of consistency in Reiki, reach out with questions or comments! Talking about Reiki is one of my favorite activities. Check out the offerings below if you want to engage deeper in your Reiki experience:
