Chakras, Crystals, & Meditation - Oh My!
October 24, 2020
This is an online workshop that takes place on zoom.
The Sanskrit word chakra translates to a wheel or disk. In yoga, and meditation, this term refers to wheels of energy throughout the body. Chakras are a spinning vortex of energy that is not seen by the human eye but can be seen, felt, and sensed with intuition. This invisible healing energy, called prana, is a vital life force, which keeps us vibrant, healthy, and alive. Chakras store the energy of thoughts, feelings, memories, experiences, and actions. They influence and direct our present and future mindset, behavior, emotional health, and actions. The life force in each chakra can be processed, transmuted and released so that we consciously manifest what we want to call in, rather than experience more of what is blocking us. Chakra healing is the intentional practice of connecting with our stored energy, so we may understand how our past is influencing the present and the future. Prana informs us, and influences our actions and behaviors, determining our health, career opportunities, relationships, and more. The subtle body depicts how our inner reality creates our outer reality.
We are constantly influenced by the energy surrounding us: the grumpy coworker, the buzzing of fluorescent lights, the smell of freshly brewed coffee. Everything is energy and we are affected by all of it while we simultaneously affect those around us with our energy. Crystals are part of this. If we can be affected by the energy of our computer screens, then we can also be affected by crystals. Crystals and stones are naturally occurring and positively impact our physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies. By intentionally placing healing crystals in our spaces or on ourselves, we begin to choose the energy that we want in our lives.
Each chakra has a corresponding color, and crystal. In this workshop we work through each chakra with meditation, inquiry, breath and mantra. The chakras are the headquarters of each element in our body and they have a profound effect on our physical, emotional, and energetic states. This workshop will harmonize the elements within you so that you come into equanimity with the universal field of intelligence.

Danielle Parker is the owner or The Salty Blossom. She was first introduced to meditation in college, where she took a class hoping for an "easy A". She did not get an A but she did walk away with a wonder of the power of meditation. She began working with crystals in 2016 and discovered that she has a deeply intuitive relationship with them. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and connecting people with crystals that will enhance their physical, emotional, and spiritual lives.
